Hi Seamless Friends
Because recently my attention has been brought to the fact that Seamless 2.083 when set to output X3D files in XML format it does not output ROUTEs properly unless the ROUTEs are TO Part and Morpher nodes, I have uploaded 2.084 with this bug fixed.
2.084 has had a number of other changes, the most visible being some extra fields to the FreezeTime control panel and to the TimeSensor's control panel to make sampling poses easier to do. For info on the new fields see the updated Sample a Pose tutorial:
www.seamless3d.com/tut/immediate_av/animation.html#SamplePose
2.084 should be more robust than previous version because when it saves a file it first checks for any parts that have clearCycle checked that have any other parts referencing their vertices whose clearCycle is not checked. If a part is found to have this case seamless will ignore clearCycle for the part so that the file will get saved with it's integrity intact. This should greatly reduce the chance of seamless being able to save a file but not be able to open it again.
The CopyPart node has been improved so that it is now possible to copy a group of parts that share vertices and add the copied triangles back to the parts they came from (add) making it possible for example to make an animated flag first with triangles visible only on one side and later possible to duplicate the triangles with insideOut set so that the flag ends up being visible on both sides.
The last few weeks I have been developing a "Just In time" C++ compiler for seamless so that seamless can run scripts but this is not ready to be used in this version. However some new nodes maybe noticeable in the children node menu all beginning with G_. These are to be used as global variables when my scripts are ready but for 2.084 just ignore them.
