Hi Seamless Friends download 2.070 from: www.seamless3d.com/downloadAnastasia has been using and testing seamless recently on her latest world. www.golden-dreams.org/visitor/It was exported by spazz so it had a lot of Group and Transform nodes that were not needed which spazz and vizx3d seem to generate typically. I resisted the temptation to do a severe manual pruning on it in favour of writing some code to do this automatically for seamless. You can now use this feature in 2.070 by simply right clicking on the Scene node and selecting optimize. It is also possible to optimize just a Transform/Group node and all its decedents by right clicking on the node and selecting optimize. Any Group nodes inside a Transform will be replaced by it's children and any Transform node that has default field values and no ROUTE ties to any other node will get replaced by there children too. Using this feature can dramatically simplify a cluttered scene tree structure making it much more pleasant to edit. This optimization can do no harm to the render speed or the file size, it can only improve things. best wishes thyme

Well done thyme One of my complaints about spazz was always the seemingly endless nesting of transform nodes. This should help a lot of ppl who use this creation tool As you say ... should reduce file size and probably improve performance a little too griff

2.071 had a bug fixed that prevented some people from being able to name a node in the scene tree. The default backupDelay had been changed from 5 seconds to .4 seconds. See settings backupDelay for more info: www.seamless3d.com/tut/settings 2.072 now has unique icons to replace the common star icon for the standard VRML97 nodes: Sound, AudioClip, MovieTexture, Sphere, Box, Cone and Cylinder
